Whether the dealer prepped it or not, and even if it's covered under the warranty (I bought the extended plan), I don't trust those guys one bit! I've had too many problems with them —inability to fix my flickering headlight (my mechanic did it), failure to adjust belt properly and align the two sprockets (my mechanic did it). I'd rather pay my regular bike mechanic whatever it takes to make it right. Again, thanks for the info.
